Cláudia Ribeiro
PhD in Finance at the Warwick Business School, University of Warwick (United Kindgom). Assistant Professor with tenure at the School of Economics and Management, University of Porto (FEP-UP). Cláudia Ribeiro has been teaching several Finance courses (Derivatives, Fixed Income Securities, Structured Products, Portfolio Management, Risk Management) at all degree awarding levels. She develops consultancy work in her specialization area.
Invited professor and consultant at Porto Business School where she teaches executive education in her specialization area and provides in-company and custom solutions.
Research member at CEF.UP, Center for Economics and Finance at UPorto, with research interests including financial markets and financial education and literacy.
Member of the Supervisory Board (Conselho Fiscal) of Banco Português do Investimento (BPI) and BPI Private Equity (BPI-PE).
Vice-Rector for Quality and Innovation (2015-17) at Universidade Europeia and Associate Dean (2010-15) at FEP-UP.
Member of the Advising Committee (Comissão de Acompanhamento) of the Portuguese Financial Education Plan, representing the University of Porto (2012-15) and the Universidade Europeia (2015-17).
Until 2015 at FEP-UP was Member of the Scientific Council, Member of the Council of the Management Department and Head of the Finance Sub- Department, Member of the Scientific Committees of the Master in Finance and of the Master in Economics and Business Administration.
Cláudia was a member of the General Council of the Porto Business School, Executive Board member of the Centro para as Ciências e Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação da Universidade do Porto (C2COM), Consultant at the Porto Derivatives Exchange (currently integrated in NYSE Euronext) Lisbon and Director of the Executive Education at Instituto de Estudos Financeiros e Fiscais (currently Atlântico Business School).
