As part of the program, you will have the opportunity to join a Study Visit to the United States*:

The objective is to provide students with direct contact with the reality of the media and communication system in the United States. Over the course of a week (six nights, seven days), in three cities (Washington, Philadelphia, New York), the itinerary includes visits to newspaper and news agency editorial offices, radio and television studios, marketing and advertising companies; and seminars with professors from top universities.

There will also be opportunities for leisure and relaxation: concerts, Broadway musicals, basketball games, museum visits, or enjoying 'street food' are part of this week.

This week is organized by Professor Ricardo Jorge Pinto, a faculty member of the program, and requires payment and a minimum number of participants to proceed.

Diploma

To students who achieve passing grades in all subjects, the following will be awarded an Executive Master Diploma in Communication Management. In accordance with the respective Regulations of the University of Porto, this program allows for the attainment of 60 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credits in the area of Business Sciences.

This Executive Master is a specialization programme equivalent in terms of scientific rigor to the curricular component of a second cycle.
