New executive training program named "Projeto Progrida", a joint initiative by Porto Business School and CIP (Confederação Empresarial de Portugal), aimed at reducing gender inequality in middle management positions.
Women in leadership roles are pivotal for driving innovation and solving complex challenges. Their collaborative and empathetic approach enhances decision-making and often boosts a company's financial success and workplace morale.
Moreover, female leaders inspire progress by setting powerful examples for others, promoting a culture that harnesses the full potential of all individuals, leading to stronger, more innovative, and enduring business results.
Therefore, the purpose of this new executive training program is to boost the presence of women in decision-making roles within companies.
Projeto Progrida, taught in Portuguese, is targeted at women with at least five years of professional experience, a bachelor's degree, or equivalent level of higher education, and who are working in management. Candidates must also have formal support from their employer, expressed in a letter.
Applications for Projeto Progrida, the new executive training program developed in partnership by Porto Business School and CIP, are open until the end of December. Interviews will be conducted in January, and the selected candidates will be announced the following month.
The training will take place between March and November of the next year, in partnership with Porto Business School. In addition to the training component, Projeto Progrida also includes personalized coaching, tutoring, cross-mentoring, and various networking initiatives.
