Filipa Ferreira, Lecturer at Porto Business School, is the first Senior Director of People Portugal of the Portuguese unicorn.
This new challenge arises following the onboarding of Filipa Ferreira in Talkdesk team, in April 2021, as Global Head of Employee Experience to develop a global and coordinated strategy of people management. This new challenge emerges also in the year the tech company reaches two thousand employees in Portugal.
In a statement, Talkdesk shares this new position aims to define a local hiring strategy aligned with the global context and highlights “the way Filipa Ferreira’s position might bring more agility and promptness to answer the human resources’ needs in Portugal, since almost half the company’s workforce is in Portugal and Talkdesk became widely acknowledged as a space for technological capacitation to develop and build the next generation of engineers of the country”.
Filipa Ferreira has more than a decade of experience in the field of Strategic Management and Development in different fields. She has collaborated with the Faculty of Psychology and Education Science of University of Porto. Filipa Ferreira is also Lecturer at Porto Business School.
