Our meticulously selected Masterclasses promised an exciting experience, designed to enhance understanding of new trends and empower our students' career paths.
During these three days, participants had the opportunity to thoroughly understand what Career Design is and how it can be integrated into their current careers, exploring innovative strategies to shape or enhance their professional futures proactively and in alignment with their personal and especially professional goals.
On March 21 and 23, the Masterclass was led by speaker Maria Antónia Cadilhe, a professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, and a researcher at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences at the same university. With an academic background in Psychology and a PhD in Career/Life Design, she shared her experience and knowledge along with guest speakers who brought their perspectives and testimonials to the attending audience.
On March 22, the Masterclass was conducted by Filipa Ferreira, a professor at Porto Business School, a researcher at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto, and an independent consultant in People Management. Also with an academic background in Psychology, she holds two MBAs in Business Innovation and Business Administration and Management.
One of the most positive aspects of these MasterClasses was the opportunity provided to our students to interact directly with leaders and pioneers, taking advantage of their experiences and valuable life lessons. There were also excellent networking opportunities, which fostered significant connections with the wider PBS community.
