The International MBA ranks 64th, according to the QS Global MBA Ranking.
The International MBA at Porto Business School has achieved a new milestone in European executive education, rising eight positions to rank 64th in the QS Global MBA Ranking.
Globally, the program maintains its position in the 201-250 range among 340 evaluated programs. This progress reflects the growing reputation and impact of Porto Business School’s International MBA, solidifying its status as one of the most competitive and recognized in Europe.
Porto Business School improved by 6 points in its overall score compared to the previous year, reaching its best result in the last five years, with a score of 40.4 out of 100. This achievement underscores the school’s ongoing evolution and commitment to providing world-class education.
Among the various indicators assessed, Class & Faculty Diversity stood out, showing positive growth across all subcategories: Gender Balance – Faculty scored 2.3 points; Gender Balance – Students reached 2.1 points; and International Mix – Students achieved 2.3 points.
Entrepreneurship & Alumni Outcomes also showed significant progress across all subcategories: Entrepreneurship increased by 1.5 points, reaching 3.6 points; Alumni Outcomes improved by 0.2 points, scoring 2.9 points; and Payback Month saw a 0.5-point improvement, reaching 3.5 points.
Other key metrics with notable increases included Return on Investment, up by 0.6 points; PhD Faculty, up by 0.5 points; and Employment Rate, which improved by 0.4 points.
These results highlight Porto Business School’s commitment to diversity and its internationalization strategy. They also emphasize the importance and impact of the International MBA on both the business landscape and society.
The International MBA has been redesigned to meet participants' career goals and market needs, offering:
- A Leadership Track for developing transformational leaders capable of positively impacting their organizations and communities.
- An Entrepreneurship Track, where students create their own businesses.
- A Sustainability Certificate to build knowledge and skills in sustainability and sustainable business practices.
With students from diverse geographic, cultural, academic, and professional backgrounds, the International MBA fosters a rich learning environment through the sharing of unique perspectives and experiences, promoting a global understanding of business.
The program also maintains strong ties to the corporate world through business events, company visits, the Business Impact Challenge (an immersive program focused on solving complex business challenges in a real-world setting), and a Capstone Project in the form of a consultancy project, applied to real business cases provided by Porto Business School’s corporate partners and associates.

The QS Global MBA Ranking 2025 evaluated 340 programs, based on data gathered from institutions and employers, considering factors such as global employer reputation, student profiles, post-MBA salary progression, and program diversity.
