The Executive MBA at Porto Business School is once again among the 40 best in Europe and the top 100 in the world, according to the QS Executive MBA Ranking 2024. The program from the University of Porto's business school moved up two places compared to last year, jumping to the 36th position in Europe and consolidating its spot in the top 100 worldwide at the 94th position. This year, the ranking evaluated more than 220 executive MBA programs — 66 of which are European — from 48 countries.
Among the five key categories evaluated, the Executive MBA at Porto Business School received its highest score in the “Executive Profile” category, scoring 72.3 compared to the global average of 61.6, ranking 22nd in Europe. The same occurred in the “Career Outcomes” category, where the program scored 67.8 points, positioning itself above the global average of 58.6 points, and placing among the top 30 in Europe in this parameter (30th position).
This year, Porto Business School’s Executive MBA once again excelled in the “Managerial Experience” indicator within the “Executive Profile” category, achieving the maximum score of 100 points, as it did in the previous edition. In the “Career Outcomes” criterion, the “Graduates Promoted” and “Mean Salary Increase” indicators also showed a positive evolution compared to the previous year, reaching 68 and 69.5 points, respectively.
Finally, the program made significant progress in the “Diversity” category, with the “Nationalities” and “Non-Male Representation” indicators scoring 39.1 and 47.5 points, respectively.
It should be noted that this is the eighth consecutive year that the Executive MBA at Porto Business School has been included in the rankings of the British consultancy Quacquarelli Symonds, consolidating the ongoing commitment to academic excellence and preparing students for the demands of the global market. Thus, the school continues to position itself as an internationally recognized institution for the quality of its executive education.

The QS Executive MBA Ranking 2024 evaluated the programs based on information collected from educational institutions and employers, specifically the reputation of executive recruiters worldwide. Also considered are the profiles of the students attending the programs, their salaries after completion, and the diversity of the program.
