Nuno Marques
Graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law of Porto, Universidade Católica Portuguesa; postgraduate degree in European Studies from the Institute of European Studies at the Catholic University of Louvain; Advanced Course in Hospital Management, Porto Business School; Master in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra and PhD in Law from the Porto School of the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University. He is a Professor at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto, where he teaches health law in the master's degree in management and economics of health services, at the Faculty of Law of the Lusíada University of Porto, and at the Faculty of Law of Porto at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, where teaches regulation and competition. He is editor for the health area of the Revista de Concorrência & Regulação, author of several legal works, and lecturer and trainer at various conferences/training actions.
He was a jurist at the European Commission, a senior jurist at the Competition Authority and, for 10 years, he was a director and administrator at the Health Regulatory Authority. He is also a lawyer with over 20 years of experience and a partner at SPM Advogados.
