Ricardo Macedo
Ricardo Macedo is the COO and Co-founder of Barkyn, a subscription service of personalised food and telemedicine support for dogs, and serves on its board of directors. Ricardo is responsible for all of the company's worldwide operations, including end-to-end management of Barkyn’s supply chain and service and support in all markets and countries. He also headed Barkyn’s Performance Marketing division and played a key role in the continued development of strategic media investment and supplier relationships, ensuring flexibility in response to an increasingly demanding pet market.
Prior to co-founding Barkyn, Ricardo was CEO of shairart, a marketplace for emerging artists in Europe. Ricardo has a Master in Marketing and Management and a Bachelor of Applied Languages, both from University of Minho.
