Specialist in Applied Corporate Finance by the Research Center for Markets and Financial Assets at INDEG — ISCTE, postgraduate degree in European Studies at the Higher Institute of Economics and Management, Technical University of Lisbon, curricular part of the Master's Degree in Economics and Public Policy at the Higher Institute of Labor and Business Sciences.
She is a Non-Executive Member of the Public Finance Council.
She held various positions in the area of social security and public finance, having been Coordinator of the Unit for the Implementation of the Budget Framework Law, Vice-President and Member of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Social Security, IP.
Technical Coordinator of the public finance area at the Public Finance Council, Member of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Financial Management of Social Security, I. P.
She was Coordinator of the Working Group for the preparation and proposal of a legal framework that contains the specifications and guidelines related to the implementation of program budgeting. Member of the Advisory Board of the Social Security Financial Management Institute, I.P. Member of the Technical Office of the Budget Framework Law Implementation Unit and Member of the Budget Framework Law Reform Commission.
Trainer, participation in conferences, and occasional collaboration as a professor in the area of public finance and social security at the Institute of Economic, Financial and Tax Law of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and in the area of public policies at the Institute for Public and Social Policies from the University Institute of Lisbon.
Cooperation with PALOP-TL in the area of Social Security in Timor-Leste, Angola and Guinea-Bissau (ILO/ ACTION project/Portugal).
Author of several publications in the area of social security and public finance.
