Marco Lamas
Post-Doctorate in Education (Entrepreneurship) from the University of Porto, Doctor in Education (Entrepreneurship) from the University Santiago de Compostela and Degree in International Relations
from Fernando Pessoa University. PhD student in Economics and Business at the University Santiago de Compostela.
He is an Adjunct Professor at ISLA – Polytechnic Institute of Management and Technology (ISLA-IPGT) where he coordinates the Business and Innovation LAB (BIL), research line of the ISLA Research Center and Professor
Invited Adjunct at ISCAP at P.Porto (Polytechnic Institute of Porto), where he is a member of the Board and sub-coordinator of the Porto Executive Academy, and coordinates Postgraduate courses in: Creation and Development
of business; Science, Entrepreneurship and Innovation; Lean Innovation; Smart Cities Management; Employer Branding.
As a research member, he integrates the Center for Intercultural Studies (CEI) and the Center for Organizational and Social Studies of the Polytechnic of Porto (CEOS.PP), both from the Instituto Superior de Contabilidade and
Port Administration (ISCAP) of P.Porto. He regularly participates in international scientific conferences, presenting papers and as a member of the scientific committee. Guides Master's work and has integrated
juries of Master's and Doctoral exams. He is an Editor and Reviewer of scientific journals.
He has work developed nationally and internationally in a business and university environment. He is co-founder of the international project SHINE (Scaling Higher Education Innovation for Europe). Specialist in
international program Santander Explorer. He is a business coach certified by the European Coaching Association (ECA), mentor, management consultant and certified trainer (IEFP) and by the Pedagogical Scientific Council of
Continuous Training (CCPFC) in the areas of Entrepreneurship and Management. He is a certified trainer of trainers and teachers (Entrepreneurship). He collaborates with several magazines, newspapers and portals writing articles of
opinion and regularly participates as a speaker at seminars and conferences and as a jury member in competitions for ideas.
