Pedro Ribeiro
I'm a computer scientist with great desire in always knowing more. I'm very enthusiastic when some subject motivates me. I'm also a very competitive person and really enjoy challenges.
I have a PhD in Computer Science, with core work on efficient sequential and parallel algorithms and data structures for pattern discovery in complex networks. In particular I was looking for network motifs.
I've been an active participant and organizer in all kinds of programming contests, a subject that I'm really enthusiastic about. I won several editions of National Olympiads in Informatics, local university contests and national contests, in different programming paradigms. I also represented my country at high school or university level on several international contests. I'm now an organizer of many contests, actively contributing as a problem setter and also training multiple students.
