Gonçalo Figueira
I hold MSc and PhD degrees in Industrial Engineering and Management from FEUP. I am a Senior Researcher at the Centre for Industrial Engineering and Management from INESC TEC, and an Invited Professor at FEUP and other universities, where I have taught 7 different courses, across BSc, MSc and PhD levels.
My expertise is in the areas of supply chain management, business analytics and decision support systems. I have published 18 articles in international outlets such as Computers and OR, Computers and Chemical Engineering, Decision Support Systems, and OR Perspectives - Google citation profile.
I have been a Researcher/Consultant/Manager in 19 R&D projects, funded by different types of entities, in the areas of production planning, supply chain design, scheduling, inventory management and artificial intelligence. I have also supervised/co-supervised 28 MSc dissertations and 4 PhD theses, and given 8 invited talks, nationally and abroad.
