- Professor at the Faculty of Law of Coimbra University since March 1991 and lectures on the Post-Graduation Course in Town Planning, the Environment and Organisational Law at the same faculty, promoted by the Law Studies Centre for the Organisation of Town Planning and the Environment
- She was a legal advisor for the Secretary of State of the Local Administration and Territorial Organisation during 1993 and provided advice to the same Secretary of State during the years of 1997, 1998 and 1999, having taken part in the working group that drew up Statute Law no.380 enacted on September 22nd 1999.
