Rosário Moreira
Rosário Moreira has a PhD in Management Sciences, a Master's degree in Economics and a 5-year Bachelor in Management from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto.
Since 1996, she has been Professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Porto, where she has taught in the areas of Optimization, Logistics and Operations Management, Accounting and Management Control, Quality Management, Project Management, among others. She has been teaching Logistics and Operations Management at Porto Business School since 2006. She was invited to teach International Operations Management in short courses at Banco Santander (2012 and 2013) and Project Management to management teams of Northern Municipal Councils (From 2010 to 2012).
She has been researching in several areas of Management namely Optimization, Operations Management, Lean, E-commerce, Innovation, Internationalization and Quality Management and has authored several publications in international journals that highlight the International Journal of Production Research, International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, the International Journal of Computational Science and Engineering, and Innovation: Organization & Management. She participated in the organization of several international scientific conferences, such as the EIBA-2010 (European International Business Academy), the XVIII Luso-Spanish Conference on Scientific Management (2008) and OPTIMIZATION-2007. She participated in several international scientific events, including the APDIO (European Operational Research Association), EURO (European Conference on Operational Research) and EUROSIS (European Simulation and Modeling Conference) conferences.
She is currently Director of the Bachelor in Management of FEP, member of the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Economics and member of the Scientific Committee of the Master in Management of FEP.
She is currently collaborating with Porto Business School as MBA & Postgraduate Programmes' Coordinator for Quality and Accreditation. She is member of the Academic Council of PBS.
