José Bancaleiro
Degree in Law from Lisbon University. He has taken various Post Graduation courses including Human Resources Management (ISG), Judicial Magistrate (CEJ) and an MBA in Marketing (Catholic University). At present he is taking a PhD in Work Sciences. He discharged technical and Human Resources Management duties (HR) with Tabaqueira for around 10 years. He was Human Resources Manager of Electroliber, Smithkline Beecham Farmacêutica (now called GlaxoSmithKline) where he discharged duties in a EuropeAn Region. In recent years he has been the Deputy Chairman, Corporate Human Resources with Altitude Software, the Human Resources Manager of Essilor Portugal and of OPCA and is currently the Central Human Resources Manager at the Banco Finantia Group. He has lectured subjects connected with HR Management and Labour Law on Post Graduation courses and MBAs of various public and private Universities, currently being the coordinator of several Executive MBAs in Business Management from the Universidade Autónoma of Lisbon. He is the author of several books in the field of HR Management and Organisational behaviour, to wit “Real life experiences – 12 cases of Human Resources management” and the “Human Capital Scorecard – How to measure the most important asset of your company”. “RH CARREIRA 2005” Prize (RH Magazine).
