Pedro Ávila
Professional executive with extensive experience in the energy sector, Pedro gathered professional experiences from the three largest companies in the Energy sector in Portugal. Pedro is currently serving as the Director of Operational Sustainability at REN. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering, his career is marked by the involvement in various international projects, which has provided him with a global perspective and the ability to adapt to different cultural and regulatory contexts. Pedro has enhanced his academic background with top-tier executive and management training (MBA from Porto Business School and Advanced Management Program at AESE), and is distinguished by his leadership, corporate strategy and innovation skills. Throughout his professional journey, Pedro has led various projects in the energy sector (gas and electricity) at top companies in their respective fields. Pedro has a consolidated experience in project and operations management across multiple markets, always with a strong focus on environmental responsibility and the mitigation of negative environmental impacts. In addition to his professional qualifications, Pedro is interested in travel, music, design, and contemporary art. Pedro strives to be an innovative leader committed with team development and building a more sustainable future.
