Rui Rodrigues was the CIO of BIAL, leading the global digital business for more than two decades and supporting the group's transformation into a global life sciences company. With a diversified experience in all areas of the pharmaceutical business, it is strongly committed to innovation, customer centricity and digital channels. He is part of groups of CIOs, including a member of CIONET advisory board and has been participating in European groups on life science projects and digital health. Graduated in Computer Science and Engineering, with an Executive MBA from Porto Business School and Leading Digital Business Transformation from IMD, he is also a Certified International Professional Coach and Certified Scrum Master. He is currently building founder and CEO at Symplifyr, a tech startups with a focus on Intelligent Automation and Enterprise Service Management.
